Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself against illness. However, the vaccine needs of adults, teens and children can vary widely. Regardless of age, it’s important to keep your vaccine schedule up-to-date.

Note that we keep all vaccines in the clinic and a doctor’s prescription is not required.

In order to offer you quick service, all available vaccines are kept in stock in the clinic and a doctor’s prescription is not required.

Please note that healthcare workers are obligated to follow the recommendations given by the PIQ (Protocole d’Immunisation du Québec) for the Tuberculosis test.
The test can be done if:

You have a medical prescription
-
You are born or have travelled to a country where there is a high annual incidence of tuberculosis
-
If you are an employee/volunteer delivering health care, or a health care student requiring a TB test and meet all the following criteria :

You are born in Canada before 1976
-
You have received the BCG vaccine
-
You have been exposed to an active contagious known case of Tuberculosis
-
You have been in a different country for 3 months or more, excluding the Countries listed:

-Canada
-USA
-Australia
-New-Zeland
-Germany
-Austria
-Belgium
-Denmark
-Finland
-France
-Greece
-Ireland
-Italy
-Luxembourg
-Norway
-Netherlands
-United Kingdom
-Sweden

If you do NOT meet any of the above criteria, the test cannot be administered according to the PIQ
For students requiring stage work in Quebec and do not meet the above criteria to receive the PPD a result of 0mm will be given.

Many private insurance companies reimburse entirely or partially the costs related to vaccination. A receipt for insurance purposes will be issued.

Late Arrival Policy
In our efforts to offer the best care and minimize wait time for all our patients, we implemented a late arrival policy. If you are late for your appointment, please notify us immediately by text message at 819-200-9119 or by phone at 819-595-0790.
- If you are less than 10 minutes late : the allowed time will be reduced but it is still possible for us to provide service for the care needed.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late : the reduced time may be considerable and we may not have enough time to fully accommodate the type of service or care needed.
You will have the choice to:

Attend your appointment knowing that we may not be able to accommodate the full appointment time required for your health care and you may have to schedule another appointment for completion of the assessment; or
-
Reschedule another appointment in order to maximize your appointment time with our health professional.
All clients are encouraged to arrive at the office 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to register and complete any required paperwork.
Cancellation policy
Appointments must be cancelled at least 24h prior to the scheduled date and time. Fees equivalent to 50% of the appoinment price will be charged for all appointments cancelled with less than 24h notice or for no shows.
